Tune in and listen to this podcast to know more about the journey of special needs parents.
Navigating the life of a special needs parent
Day Espinal, the Operations Director of Kids Miracle Steps, often encounters the question, “Does my special needs child need PPEC services?” In fact, during the time of the podcast interview, one parent was going through this dilemma.
“The mom came to me. She’s like, “I’m stressed. I don’t know what to do anymore. I’m running back and forth between his doctor’s appointments and therapies,” Day shared during the interview. Of course, Day suggested PPEC services take care of the child’s needs, therapies, and even transportation.
“Think of this as not only an investment for your child, where you know there’s a peace of mind that your child is here with the nurses, with therapists,” Day added.
Enrolling your child in a top-rated medical daycare eases your life. We understand that being a parent to a special needs child is not a walk in the park. Every day, there are new battles. But that also means new chances.
Why consider a PPEC medical daycare?
Apart from having peace of mind knowing that your child is in good hands, it takes off a lot of responsibilities from your plate.
“Some of the kids are there 3 to 4 hours a day, giving mom enough time to go shopping down. Enough to run errands. Some of the parents are listening to this podcast/videocast. Hey, mom. You deserve that rest. You deserve that refocusing time,” Day said.
If you are a parent and are not comfortable leaving your child for 12 hours a day, we can start slow. We will take it gradually; until then, you and your child are feeling secure.
