Kids Miracle Steps is a Prescribed Pediatric Extended Care Center (PPEC). We are a medical daycare center that provides expert nursing services for children with special needs.

We offer physical, speech, occupational, and respiratory therapies for special-needs children admitted into our program. We also provide a wide range of services such as medicament management, tubular feeding, oxygen administration, change of dressing, and transportation services.

Children who have been clinically diagnosed with complex medical conditions, fragile diagnoses, and require a skilled nurse are eligible to apply for our programs and services.

As much as we want to help everyone, our center does not cater to children who are purely autistic and are not entitled to PPEC services for the diagnosis. But, do not worry. We would be glad to refer you to suitable treatment.

Children qualified for respite care services are not always eligible for PPEC services. The child must be diagnosed with a medically complex condition and be required for a skillful nurse to qualify for PPEC services.

We have a voluntary activity program for children engaged in learning-promoting activities, worksheets, and playing therapies. We work hand-in-hand with teachers coming from Broward County to administer these activities and help the children learn.

Our admission process includes screening the patients for high insurance approvals, requesting medical records from the ordering physicians, evaluating the children's physical, mental, and medical status, and submitting all the necessary forms of insurance for the patient. It can take between two to three weeks, depending on the issuance process and insurance.

Of course! We offer a post-school program for children attending school classes. Children are either dropped off at our center by a caregiver or staff from their school. You can also opt to avail our transportation services, where your child will be chaperoned by a qualified nurse on board.

Medicaid funds us fully. Besides Medicaid insurance, all managed medical care companies are also accepted.

Medically fragile infants and children receive a wide range of physician prescribed clinical interventions including Apnea monitoring, oxygen administration, tracheostomy care, ventilator management, g-tube feedings, nutritional management, formula, and medication administration.
